i personally think that the way the government is handling the taxpaper's money is horrible. i don't completely disagree with budget cuts but i don't think its right to take away from the low and middle class people. the government is taking away from public schools when they already don't have all the necessities they need. i believe that the real problem here is that all the money is being spent on supporting this war in iraq that has been going on for about eight years now. money is being spent on aircraft and sending more troops to iraq. i personally think it's time to bring the troops home and start spending our money on our country. as i tried to research budger cuts, i was unable to find the answers i wanted. i have no idea what exactly the government is spending taxpayer's money on, but it seems that some of it is being used on unreasonable things, like converting our tv's to hd. in 2009, we are spending an approximate 700 million on military purposes when our school's are in need of teachers and our citizens that depend on programs like welfare and healthcare. the music and sports programs that keep children out of trouble are being taken away.

  1. you have good ideas, but i think you should develop your ideas into an essay. You said that you tried to research budget cuts, and you can't find the information you want. We are the same. I'm international student who come from Vietnam, so I don't know what budgets you do have in school in California. I also research this information in some website and ask my friends and try to develop it into an essay, although I know it's not good. However, I can understand a little bit about American education through this debate. Therefore, I hope to see your essay about your ideas.
