  2. Hey,
I am pro choice and I don't judge anyone on what they might think about gay marriage. I am against it because I'm a christian and I just think it's nasty. Not to be rude.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Gay Rights- Our forefathers fought wars for America to become a "Free Country." It is breaking a civil right to not allow gay marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Nasty.. Not the best choice of words in my opinion. That's an insulting way to put anything.

    ReplyDelete
  5. religion isn't supposed to interfere with the law. unfortunately it already does

    ReplyDelete
  6. i think that gay marriage should not be legalized cuz its against a lot of religions and not accepted by society. i also dont have anything against gay people but it shouldnt be legal to get married if ur gay.

    ReplyDelete
  7. we should do the debate on lowering trhe drinking age

    ReplyDelete
  8. I really don't care if they get married or not because it doesn't affect me directly.

    ReplyDelete
  9. so about the drinking age.. what do u guys think it should be?

    ReplyDelete
  10. If people allow gay marriage to happen, then whats next? People are going to want to marry cows or horses like a guy did on the east coast.

    ReplyDelete
  11. why do u think it should be lowered? i mean how would that be any good for anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  12. yah that will open doors to other crazy things!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Gay marriage, the only thing that would be question a for me would be the cost. Every new law costs money to enact. Marriage would encompass a lot of resources. Such as divorce lawyers and there would have to be more judges, etc.

I could say "shut your face, no offense." It's still offensive.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think the drinking age should be lowered to 18 because it's not right that you could go to war but you can't drink. That just doesn't make sense to me...

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don't really care about the drinking age.

    ReplyDelete
  16. i didnt say lower it...i said neuutral...undecided.

    ReplyDelete
  17. i think the drinking age should be raised not lowered

    ReplyDelete
  18. drinking age sshould be as it is 21!

    ReplyDelete
  19. i think raising the age but in a way i think about it and no matter what drinking always going to be a promble because we have so many people who are irresponsible and immature when it comes to drinking no matter how old they are.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Some societies do accept gay marriage, like for instance the GAY soceity. Just because some people are against it does mean everyone is. Some gay people are also religious so its unfair to say its against all religions because in the bible it says to not judge others.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I think that the drinking age should not be lowered because it will effect our future youth in many bad ways. Lowering the age will have no good outcomes and only bring bad news.

    ReplyDelete
  22. That's why people in the army are allowed to drink at army bases.

    ReplyDelete
  23. its ironic because how come u cant drink at 18 but u can go to war...but at the same time....there will be more drunk driving accidents...thats why im neutral.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ya in the bible it also says ADAM AND EVE!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. You can't buy beer at a miliary base and be under age.

    ReplyDelete
  26. the only people that should be aloud to drink under the age of twenty one should be men and women in service, other than that a lower drinking age would only cause more drunk driving deaths

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah your right the Bible it says not to judge but the only person that can judge is God. I'm not judging, I'm just trying to prove whats right.

    ReplyDelete
  28. yes you can, my friend was eighteen, in the army and he drank all the time

    ReplyDelete
  29. If your 18 or older you can drink at a base and if your in the army.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Over 15,000 people die a year in dui crashes 60% of those people are under the legal drinking age as it is right now

    ReplyDelete
  31. The drinking age should be lowered because because either way people under 21 are going to get alchol and drink and it is a waste of cop money to track down all underage drinkers. Yet drinking and driving could be increased.
    Im undecided.

    ReplyDelete
  32. shut up, no one can come up with a good reason why gay marriage should be illegal, just let them be

    ReplyDelete
  33. Maybe if the age was lowered more people would be responsible.
    but thats just a maybe

    ReplyDelete
  34. i respect the true love. Everyone can choose a good life partner for himself or herself. However, I don't agree with the gay marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  35. keep the drinking age the same, there's no reason it should be lowered

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think raising the drinking age will potentially cause more problems because people tend to be attracted to illegal stuff, for example, cocaine, meth, marijuana (federal offense), etc.

    ReplyDelete
  37. i understand that it seems unfair to be able to go to war and to drive and smoke at age 18 but have to wait to be 21 to drink... yea if u want to drink you really care, but in relity its because you are "more Mature" at that age which i disagree. i mean some might be but many specially does who drink are not. So sometimes i think it should be raise to 23 or even 25. but when some can't do something they tend to do it any ways so that you still be a promble underage drinking

    ReplyDelete
  38. i think people should be able to marry whom ever they want. its their lives and no one elses

    ReplyDelete
  39. Marrying an animal is way different then marrying a human being. I don't think you can really compare the two. An animal can't make decisions like a human.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Not at Mira Mar Marine base. They check ID there just like everywhere else..

    ReplyDelete
  41. it doesn;t make sense to say that only people in the service should be able to drink because who would ever follow that. I drink, Im 18 i dont see anyone stopping me.

    ReplyDelete
  42. WHATS RIGHT IS HETEROSEXUAL MARRIAGES

    ReplyDelete
  43. over 100,000 people die a year related to alcohol, liver failure, dui and other alcohol related accidents and illness's such as alcoholism

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ya but you have to be on base. You can;t just go to the bar and chill with your buddies.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think it's fine for people to be gay but why do that have to get married and break up the traditional marriage between a man and a women.

    ReplyDelete
  46. i agree with lowering the drinking age. but its hard to decide. i mean its so complicated because its true why waste our money on doing that when its going to happen either way.

    ReplyDelete
  47. teens get tempted to drink all the time...i doubt that none of u have ever been to a party were a whole bunch of teens are drunk....when teens get restricted to something we tend to want to do it...is it not true?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Raise drinking age until DUI ends!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. ok give me a good reason why only heterosexual marriages should be legal, that's right you fuckn cant! face it you retards have no arguement

    ReplyDelete
  50. i think gay marriage should be allowed because i dont believe people should be told who can and can not love, i dont think its a mental disability to be gay like some people say...

    ReplyDelete
  51. I AGRRE WITH MIA!!!!!...LETS PARTY!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. People against gay marriage are just afraid of people being different than them. Afraid that this soceity is potentially changing. More people are accepting the fact that people are going to be with whomever they want we cant stop them and they arent asking us to join them, does that mean we have to do everything in our power to stop them.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I haven't even drank because of peer pressure. But if you make it illegal more people are gonna do it BUT some people are gonna be alcoholics no matter what. I know people who start drinking at 14. So illegal but no one stopped them. I guess the law doesn't really stop people.

    ReplyDelete
  54. i agree, you shouldnt discriminate against someone for any reason

    ReplyDelete
  55. lol hey if they want to go to hell that fine by me. It just depends how strong of a christian and faith you have. Everybody is born straight. God doesn't except everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  56. well if the age is lowered to 18 then there will be teens in high school that will be able to legally buy alcohol. these same teens will be going to school with and socialing with kids that are 14 years old (freshmen), and these freshmen will have an easy way to get alcohol. as time goes on alcohol will continue to be introduced to these kids at a lower and lower age resulting in loss of life as well as loss of determination to do well in school if you could just drink instead of studying at that young of an age.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Why should anyone be able to judge who someone can get married to. gay people have a right to get married and if they choose to live that life style they should be able to have the same rights as everyone else

    ReplyDelete
  58. ya it is a disability to be gay,umm like not being NORMAL!

    ReplyDelete
  59. i agree with michael a teenager gets drunk to afraid to call their parents for a ride home and drives drunk with friends in the car gets in an accident kills everyone in the car except themselves that person is going to prison for vehicular manslaughter and other felonies

    ReplyDelete
  60. Marriage is definitely not what it used to be, it's not as sacred and really lost its meaning. People get married for a month and then get a divorced. I mean, didn't Britney Spears get married for a day or something then get a divorce? I personally think it has really lost its meaning in the first place. So letting gays now marry will ruin that "sacred" man vs women bond?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hell is just a term used to scare people into doing what others want them to.

    ReplyDelete
  62. The reason the drinking age is not 18 is because our brains are growing. and drinking would interupt the process.

    ReplyDelete
  63. and thats why we have all this hate in the world by comments like that

    ReplyDelete
  64. i am for gay marriage. i just don't think it affects our lives in any way. i think it is so hipocritical to say that it isn't right because two males or two females can't reproduce but at the same time the law allows us to do things that aren't necessarily right like drink. the law isn't based on religon so why does that change with same sex marriage?

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think drinking age should definitely stay the same..

    ReplyDelete
  66. what it comes down to is this, we don't ever need to lower the drinking age because even if someone is under twenty one they are going to drink any way because they'll get their parents or a friend to buy it, but this makes it less likely that they're going to drive drunk or get in trouble. let's face it, the majority of persons under twenty one are extremely immature and can't be trusted with an alcoholic licence.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Change! I would have voted for Obama but i was to young, so I'm for change but not gay marriage!

    ReplyDelete
  68. There is not need for profanity. Calm down.

    ReplyDelete
  69. i am not agree with flores. :(

    no opines tu,

    ReplyDelete
  70. beisdes i have many gay friends and they are normal

    ReplyDelete
  71. thats true what ocean chris said about younger kids having access to alcohol if the drinking age was lowered

    ReplyDelete
  72. At the age of 14 it was easy for me to find alcohol. So I don't think that it would make a substantial difference for freshman's getting easy accesss to alcohol. No matter what it's all on the people who drink because from my experiences, peer pressure doesn't exist.

    ReplyDelete
  73. TEENS ARE STILL GOING TO DRINK..NO MATTER WHAT.....PEEER PRESSURE!!!!....THATS SOCIETY!! HAHAHA....BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON U.

    ReplyDelete
  74. why are there priests that preach that gay marriage is okay and priests that preach that its wrong?
and the priests would be from the same marriage.
gay marriage should be allowed. the fact that it isnt really does show that america is not "free"

    ReplyDelete
  75. pressure exist if you believe it or not

    ReplyDelete
  76. I don't care about drinking age because I've never drank but people who get in trouble for drinking shouldn't be allowed to drink.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Agreed. The law doesn't really stop people from drinking. They are gonna drink. I was offered other illegal substances around like 10. I think what stops people is a good upbringing. Or just someone showing you the future.

If you saw a slub passed out in the road, covered in his own urine, from drinking all night. You probably wouldn't wanna drink.

    ReplyDelete
  78. all the people that disagree with gay marraige and think gay people arent human are just afraid to be themselves and are jealous that homosexuals are happy with who they are and dont have to hide who they really are

    ReplyDelete
  79. People getting angry should realize that maybe its because they are wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  80. the drinking age should stay at 21

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yes pressure exist but your free will to deny drinking exist too.

    ReplyDelete
  82. ya gay people might be happy with having aids and hiv too!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. teens shouldnt drink, theyre too immature

    ReplyDelete
  84. aids and hiv have nothing to do with it. straight people gets them too

    ReplyDelete
  85. Is he gonna look at these comments to make sure we talked or something?

    ReplyDelete
  86. i just dont think it should be up to society to judge the gay community for who they cant love and we should let god judge them and stop trying to act like god and say who can and cant people be with...

    ReplyDelete
  87. just because you don;t agree with gay marriage doesn't mean your afraid of them. My uncle is gay and I support him and his boyfriend all the way but, I still don't believe in gay marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  88. just as many strainght people get aids and hiv look up your statistics as of right now the most likely to gets aids and hiv and young straight women

    ReplyDelete
  89. i think that if you lower the drinking age, people would drink and drive less because they won't have to hide it and can feel more comfortable calling someone (maybe in their family) to pick them up when they're drunk. that just makes more sense to me. or if they wanted to call a cab, they don't have to be scared of getting caught by the cops

    ReplyDelete
  90. dude no matter what gay people are always going to be made fun of or discriminated against no matter what pro-gays say. ITS JUST NOT NORMAL!!

    ReplyDelete
  91. lmao..y would anyone b happy with having hiv n aids

    ReplyDelete
  92. Gay marraiage has been an issue especially to people who have a "problem" with it. Many people have several opinions on gay marraige and the question i would propose to the audience is: what is your beleif on the topic? I would aproach this topic in particular with an open mindjust because it's such a sensitive topic. In my opiniion i beleive we are all alike speaking the fact that we are all human. Sexual orientation means so little when the love you have for someone means so much!

    ReplyDelete
  93. not all teens are immature. there are some that are actually responsible and smart enough to not drink.

    ReplyDelete
  94. yeah but so do people with disabilities does that mean we should take away their rights too

    ReplyDelete
  95. and anyways gay people can get married right now its called a domestic partership

    ReplyDelete
  96. that may be true but it's not very likely

    ReplyDelete
  97. WHAT ARE UR FAVORITE DRINKS? HAHAHA...MICHAEL!!...I SAW U DRINKING AT A PARTY ONCE DONT U REMEMBER HAHAHA.

    ReplyDelete
  98. They are still allowed to love who ever they want. they can get a union with that person they LOVE but, why does it have to be called marriage?

    ReplyDelete
  99. CUZ SOMEONE SAID THAT GAY PEOPLE ARE HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY HAVE AND HOW THEY ARE.

    ReplyDelete
  100. its not normal but thats how they feel so who are we to judge them, all we can really do is accept it cuz its going to happen no matter what its not like we can change their mind and make them go straight

    ReplyDelete
  101. i'm for gay marriage. Although, i'm a christian. :O
I hate people say gay-marriage is a sin. What if i'm not believe in any religion?
    It's the matter of equality!

    ReplyDelete
  102. I don't understand how you get home from a bar. A significant amount of people drink alone. How are they gonna get home? I think the easiest way to stop DUI would be to just make bar owners send people home.

    ReplyDelete
  103. true, i was a teen who cared more about school than going out and drinking

    ReplyDelete
  104. not all gay people have hiv and aids.
straight people can have hiv and aids. That depends on the protection you use and how safe you are. Wait till you have a kid and he/she is gay. i bet you change your opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  105. yeah maybe one in every one hundred teens might be a little mature

    ReplyDelete
  106. HIV and AIDS came for humans making bad decisions and having sex with people of the same sex and animals. Notice have orange juice is good for you and soda is bad? It's because we caused it.

    ReplyDelete
  107. yeah but with the unions they dont get the same rights as a married person

    ReplyDelete
  108. most of the people that dont like gay people and are against them with so many choice words are probably gay but to afraid to come out of the closet

    ReplyDelete
  109. ya most GAYS do have aids or hiv, no honey that will never change my opinion, not even ur loud annoying mouth either

    ReplyDelete
  110. its called a taxi, take one sometime. plus just cause you drink doesnt mean you should get so wasted you cant see straight, thats called drinking in moderation.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I think the drinking age should stay the same, because if we lowered it any more there would be a lot of irresponsible people out there.

    ReplyDelete
  112. well you can have sex with a hundred diferent people of the opposite sex and still get aids not just by having sex with the same sex

    ReplyDelete
  113. hiv and aids did not just come from people of the same sex

    ReplyDelete
  114. One more thing with lowering the drinking age:
when the age is lowered any further than 21 (to 18 y/o), you start giving alcohol to people who are not mentally ready for it. for example many people who are young do not know how to handle there alcohol and may drink way too much not knowing their limit. this can result in alcohol poisoning, stomach pumping and even death. young teens cannot control their alcohol limits and do not have the maturity to have the priviledge to buy and comsume alcohol. The drinkning age must stay at the same or we could see an increase of teen deaths resulting from too much alcohol.

    ReplyDelete
  115. my loud annoying mouth wasnt the thing talking. dont be rude.

    ReplyDelete
  116. i think marriage doesnt have a sacred meaning anymore. look at the divorce rates. i mean many get married for just the party not even being in love. some get married without even knowing the person any more. i see it as if gays want to get married let them if they love each other than fine. most heterosexuals dont care anymore about marriage. they dnt give that respect that it should have. so why do heterosexuals care so much..let them be.

    ReplyDelete
  117. i think its kinda stupid that gay marrage is illegal...no matter what, the people are gnna b gay, and matter what there gnna b together so y not jus let them get marryd

    ReplyDelete
  118. doesnt christianity teach you to have an open mind about things

    ReplyDelete
  119. Ah ha. But are you gonna have the forethough to get a taxi when you're wasted? Duh. No offense. It should be mandatory or something.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Gay marriage has been a big issue in American society. The majority think that it's the most disgrace event in human society, and that we should abandon homosexual marriage. Personally, I think that there's nothing wrong with gay marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Do AID's and HIV exists in straight people? Of course they do, but the percentage for AIDs and HIV are higher in the homosexual crowd because they are having sodomy which is not natural what so ever.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Man. Alot of you people drank some hate-erade.

    ReplyDelete
  123. haha no, christianity teACHES YOU TO HAVE A RATHER CLOSED MIND ABOUT THINGS

    ReplyDelete
  124. i am agree with jazmine .
    poele are gonna be gay
    so let them get marriage

    ReplyDelete
  125. either way you can aids no matter what and they know there is a higher chance and they choose to take that risk just to be with the people they want so let them have their gay thing going they know the consequences

    ReplyDelete
  126. cuz ther is nothing rong with gay marriage.. there a lot of other bigger more important things in the world other than someone being in love with the same sex

    ReplyDelete
  127. For me, drinking at 18 or 21 is not a problem. I think you should care about the your health when you drink. Alcohol is not good for your health, sometime you can't control yourself. let think about the result when you are drunker.

    ReplyDelete
  128. actually a lot of people take taxis. I take them all the time. i have one in my speed dial.

    ReplyDelete
  129. gay marraige is not illegal its called a domestic partnership and not all gays have aids and hiv, in our society right now more straight people have and are getting it so check your facts

    ReplyDelete
  130. i agree that teens are not mentally ready to drink at 18. which is why the law is set at 21. in other countries where there are no drinking ages alot of teenagers die from liver problems cause by alcohol

    ReplyDelete
  131. anyways what about the people who chose to get a sex change and then marry the sex that they previously where before the operation. even after surgery they arent all the way the opposite sex

    ReplyDelete
  132. See, to me Gay marriage is in the hands of democracy, if the majority of people don't want Gay marriage, then it shouldn't be allowed. People that say this isn't truly a free country are blind, we had the freedom to vote for it or not. We are a very conservative country with many religions and many religious people so many people disagree with gay marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  133. A lot of people don't. And they kill people. So yeah.

    ReplyDelete
  134. gay people should be able to get married and be just as miserable as everyone else. let their spouses take all their money.

    ReplyDelete
  135. so technically they are getting married as a gay couple

    ReplyDelete
  136. LET THEM BE WHO THEY WANT TO BE...SOME TIME AGO MY BIOLOGY TEACHER TOLD US HIV CAME FROM PEOPLE HAVING SEX WITH MONKEYS....BUT IM NOT SURE...HAS ANYONE HEARD THAT BESIDES ME?

    ReplyDelete
  137. That's true what MANICMIKE said, but in a domestic partnership they can't get all the benefits such as a married person such as joint income taxes and such.

    ReplyDelete
  138. yeah and if they go to the hospital they cant see their "domestic partner" which still sucks for them only cuz they're not "married"

    ReplyDelete
  139. Drinking age is set at 21 because that is when your brain and learning skills have developed the most.

    ReplyDelete
  140. for all those who say gay peole arent normal, look at ellen degenerous, i think shes normal and sucessful

    ReplyDelete
  141. What else do you have on your speed dial?

    ReplyDelete
  142. BACK TO DRINKING AGE....IT DOESNT MATTER IF THEY CHANGE IT OR NOT....ALCOHOL IS STILL GOING TO BE OUT THERE.

    ReplyDelete
  143. When i went to church i remember being taught to not discriminate or to hate other people. you also arent supposed to force your opinion, just suggest it. Don't be opposed to gay people, no one is forcing you to be gay. and gay people USUAllY dont hit on straight people because they know. So relax

    ReplyDelete
  144. ok i m bored, lets change the topic.

    what about legalize marijuana

    ReplyDelete
  145. Why are young kids these days in such a rush to grow up?

    ReplyDelete
  146. yeah and she helps alot of people too so does that mean that all her good acts go unseen only because shes gay? i think thats wrong cuz straight or gay her good deeds help

    ReplyDelete
  147. To Alan, I'm pretty sure Obama said he would fix that, not sure how much he has done yet though.

    ReplyDelete
  148. i think the legalization of weed is crap

    ReplyDelete
  149. i dont see why people take gay marriage and drinking age so seriously, these debate topics are sooooooo lame.

    ReplyDelete
  150. SOCIETY!!!!...THERES UR ANSWER "TWITCH".

    ReplyDelete
  151. i believe that if the chruch has a big issue with gay marriage then we should respect that. but i dnt see gay marriage as something wrong. i just think get married be happy but respect the religions. but i know is ify because they are not respecting them in a sense.. im with gay marriage... ify on gay marriage through chruch.. if the chruch doesnt want to accept it

    ReplyDelete
  152. Thanks MANICMIKE. I can't keep up with this new age talk. hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  153. its rong 2 say tht jus cuz u want 2 be with someone of the same sex tht u cant get all the benifits of a real marriage..in the long term it sux 4 the couples

    ReplyDelete
  154. legalization is a fun topic but we're not going to get anywhere

    ReplyDelete
  155. yeah...but if age gets lowered it would be way easier..

    ReplyDelete
  156. yeah i know. she is someone that should be respected no matter what. and the media is finally coming around to the idea of gay people and its the most judgmental thing out there. so if the media can get over why cant we

    ReplyDelete
  157. nope, igloo. We should protect this small group of people. they shouldn't be ignored just because their group is small. For example, since there are only small percentage of korean is US., if everyone else votes for killing them all, can we actually do that?

    ReplyDelete
  158. My Dad is my #1 speed dial.
My best friend Leesh is my #2
    My cousin is my #3
    Taxi is my #4
and my work is my #5
    check it

    ReplyDelete
  159. i think that when it comes to benefits everyone should get them.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Anthony make a good point about the benefits that married couple have. But love is an unconditional feeling. If you love each other, you just want to be with each other regardless of the benefits you'll get in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  161. To huh, Trying to compare killing people to not getting married is VERY different. Not letting gay people get married doesn't hurt anyone, no one is physically hurt and they can still live their lives very much the same as everyone elses. Gay marriage isn't protecting anyone, that doesn't mean they should have benefits of what straight people have when they get married though. They just don't earn the title of marriage, because many people see it as only between a Man and Women.

    ReplyDelete
  163. WHATS FUNNY IS THAT IN MEXICO THE DRINKING AGE IS 18...BUT WHEN I GO TO T.J I DONT EVEN SEE (1) CAR CRASH!!!! HAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  164. Gay marriage should be legal because everyone has a right to make their own decisions and to be happy with whomever they choose. Nobody has a right to judge others just because they have different beliefs.

    ReplyDelete
  165. i am agree with eric that is true.
there is more accidents in the us than mexico..

    ReplyDelete
  166. Thats because the majority of people in mexico/TJ 18 or close to that age cant afford cars, therefor less car crashes. a lower age in other countries may be fine for them but america is a very different country than others. we have a lot of people, a lot of machinery, and a lot of media.
